Tony said Great, easy read.. Great book, great movie. The book is quite different from the film so it's worth the read and it's an easy one at that. For anyone that is concerned about whether the movie tie in edition is the same as the actual light novel "All You Need Is Kill", I can assure you that the two are the exact same aside from the cover art since I own both editions because I'm rich and can do s*** like that.. Worth a repeat- unique from the movie I picked up this book after having seen Edge of Tomorrow, the summer blockbuster that was loosely based on this novel. Loosely-based is the key phrase here. I liked the film and also enjoyed the book, but despite the rebranding of the cover, readers should not expect All You Need Is Kill to be very related. Imagine the basic idea for a story featuring a Japanese hero, a couple of plot points, and a bad@ss female secondary character, then remove . Good Listen It was better than I thought it would be. Overall I did really enjoy the audio book. Read through 80% of the graphic novel before listening to this. You don't get the action packed sequences of a graphic novel, but they add more info to the story. It got more into the hero's head with this version, which is the strength of the book format.
