Mr. D. T. Pybus said Alum researchers. Although entitled "Manufacture of alum & the sulphates of Alumina and Iron" it is not an historical account of the alum and copperas industries - more a contemporary account of the processes in use in the latter half of the nineteenth century. After saying that, I was very pleased to find it on a charity bookstall for 50p - I havent seen another copy on the market
