I purchased this book as a gift for someone who does not consider herself creatively gifted but who enjoys some crafty things. I was delighted to find that it's perfect for her, and I will not hesitate to purchase it for others.As a workbook, it has plenty of pre-drawn blanks of differing sizes and shapes to be filled - not enough to replace a sketchbook and make you feel like you just bought blank pages but enough for a beginner to get . Alison Anderson said Good Zentangle Resource. This book has lots of examples of Zentangle artwork. There are several pages of blank frames for practicing, which are not necessary IMO, but some people might like this feature.The pages are very thick and I assume good quality. The content is accurate and the little tips are helpful. The back has several examples of different Zentangle patterns along with step by step pictures of how to draw them.
