I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction between Sadie and Penny, a gentle dependence leading to love. Eli is so stuffy that one only hopes someone can teach him to see the beauty in life. Quite simply a good read.. PennyRed said Okay Christian romance book. I gave this book three stars because I was somewhat irritated by the male main character. I thought I would warm up to him eventually in the story but I never did. He was a jerk to the end. That may sound funny but I can't think of a better word. I love Winnie Griggs though and I would definitely read another book from her. This one just left me cold.
