Mary Katherine Moore said Gread read for young and old. I don't have children and didn't realize this was written for middle-school age readers, as I was captivated from the beginning. I picked it up on a whim and couldn't put it down! Although meant for YA, the story of two girls and their side-kick boy, Indy, are brought together on a magical quest to save the world. Before you think Harry Potter, know that this book. good for a rainy day I am giving this book four stars for a number of reasons. It has a clear, positive but not overbearing message that is greatly needed. The characters reacted in believable ways to the trials of growing up and peer pressure however I appreciated that they were still willing to embrace the magical side. Fast read, good for a rainy day. Really hope there is a sequel!. Unique, fun, exciting and well-written. Great for YAand adults, too!
