Mutt This book is not a bad introduction to real options for people who have some corporate finance background and who work in project management specifically. I do think it is one of the better introductory texts to real options for those who have to actually use it, but I am also highly spoiled.Before I read this, I was fortunate enough to get Shockley's Real Options Valuation book, which has a heavy emphasis on applications. It contains a mind-blowing number of. "Difficult to follow" according to Claudia Furth. Some good material but I really found the writing style to be hard to follow and at times confusing. This is a bit of an obscure topic to begin with in my opinion but I think the authors could have done a better job of making the book more readable.
