I kept reading bits and pieces from his book to the others in the group and they all ended up using this book as well. It's easy to read and understand. He gives so much background information to help you understand what life was like in the times of Jesus, what the culture demanded of Jesus and the disciples and also what the meanings of some o. "My number one resource" according to John Preston-Marshall. I have been leading Bible studies for a number of years now, and Ralph Wilson's insightful, practical and challenging studies and articles have become my first port of call when I'm preparing for a new series of studies. I really admire the fact that almost all of his material is available for free on the web, but do recommend purchasing his e-books because of the nice formatting and the convenience of having everything in the one place (plus they usually have a few extras in the appendices).
